AssetShare is a marketplace where power plant owners (Generators) lease a share of their capacity, in kW, to businesses (Offtakers) for 3 months to 25 years. We handle contracts, monthly set-off notes, invoices and settlement.
No. As an Offtaker you lease capacity from an existing, verified plant. There is nothing to build or maintain.
We list plants in the states our team has enabled. The list is shown wherever you pick a state. Other states are coming soon.
Each Generator completes KYC, and each plant is reviewed by our operations team: commissioning certificate, evacuation details and DISCOM information. Monthly generation is checked against a certified statement before anyone is billed.
No. AssetShare is a private marketplace. Charges, limits and tiers are configured by the platform and shown before you commit.
Register, complete KYC, then add the plant: location, capacity, unit size, tariff for each tier, and supporting documents. Our team reviews it before it goes live.
A unit is the smallest block of capacity you can lease, for example 10 kW. A 2 MW plant with 10 kW units has 200 units.
A platform fee per settlement, currently 2% of the energy invoice plus 18% GST on the fee. It is deducted from your payout, and every deduction is itemised.
The certified generation statement for each plant, by the 7th of the following month. Once approved, set-off notes and invoices are issued automatically.
Its share of generation stays with you and is not billed through the platform.
Offtakers pay the platform. Once the energy invoice is paid, we transfer the net amount to your bank account and upload the payout reference. You confirm receipt, or raise a dispute.
Filter by state, source, tier and tariff. Each plant shows an estimated landed price against your grid tariff so you can see the saving before you request a lease.
The all-in price per kWh: the plant tariff, our platform fee, your DISCOM charges (wheeling, transmission, cross-subsidy and additional surcharge) and losses, plus electricity duty.
A monthly document, generated for you, stating how many units from your leased share to set off against your DISCOM bill. You submit it to your DISCOM.
Certificate of incorporation, GST certificate, PAN, board resolution, your last three utility bills and an Aadhaar-verified authorised signatory.
You can request any listed plant. The landed price uses your own DISCOM connection, and the contract states how set-off will work.
By bank transfer to the platform account shown on each invoice. Then upload the UTR and proof. We verify it, usually within one working day.
Yes. Select the invoices, enter the total and the UTR. We allocate the amount, oldest due first by default.
After the grace period a late fee applies at the published monthly rate, with a minimum and a cap. Reminders go out before and after the due date.
Platform fees carry 18% GST. Energy invoices are issued at 0% GST by default. Both rates are configurable and shown on every invoice.
A refundable-style advance paid per kW after approval to secure your capacity. It is adjusted against your first energy invoice once the contract is active.
Contracts are signed digitally with an Aadhaar OTP by your authorised signatory. The Offtaker signs first, then the Generator.
Each plant offers flat, escalating or de-escalating tariffs per tier. The schedule for every contract year is shown before you sign and fixed in the contract.
If the plant allows it. After the lock-in period you can exit by serving the notice period. Inside the lock-in, an exit penalty applies per kW for each remaining lock-in month.
We remind you 90, 60 and 30 days before the end date and offer a one-click renewal request, prefilled from your current contract.
Signed contracts, set-off notes, invoices and payment proofs stay in your account for the full contract term and beyond, each with a tamper-evident hash.
