AssetShare is a marketplace where power plant owners (Generators) lease a share of their capacity, in kW, to businesses (Offtakers) for 3 months to 25 years. We handle contracts, monthly set-off notes, invoices and settlement.
The all-in price per kWh: the plant tariff, our platform fee, your DISCOM charges (wheeling, transmission, cross-subsidy and additional surcharge) and losses, plus electricity duty.
A monthly document, generated for you, stating how many units from your leased share to set off against your DISCOM bill. You submit it to your DISCOM.
By bank transfer to the platform account shown on each invoice. Then upload the UTR and proof. We verify it, usually within one working day.
If the plant allows it. After the lock-in period you can exit by serving the notice period. Inside the lock-in, an exit penalty applies per kW for each remaining lock-in month.
